Vineyard size: 18 hectares
Located in the very Western part of Franconia, in the Main River Valley between the Spessart and the Odenwald Forests, are the wine towns around Miltenberg. The appellation is unique for Franconia. It is documented that the family Fürst has operated this estate since 1653. In 1979, Paul and Monika Fürst built a brand new facility at the Hohenlindenweg in the vineyards of the Centgrafenberg Mountain. Most of their vines grow on the Southern facing slopes of the Centgrafenberg, on soils of eroded new red sandstone. The appellation is suited perfectly for Pinot Noir and Riesling.
